Who is Mrs. Reed

I am a born and raised Vermonter from the town of Northfield.  I've lived in Portland, Oregon and Narragansett, Rhode Island and traveled about this country and abroad.  Now I live but a mile from the town I grew up in with my husband Jeremy (aka Skip) and our German Shorthaired Pointer named Trigger. 
I completed my undergrad in Early Childhood Education at the University of Rhode Island and have a Masters in Education from Southern New Hampshire University.  With the support of the Montpelier School System I have benefited from a wide range of professional development in mathematics, literacy, science and social/emotional development.
I enjoy a variety of activities besides the love of teaching.  I enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming, sewing, gardening, cooking, spending time with my niece and nephew, and most of all wandering in the woods behind my home with my dog.
